Coach Canterbury played college football at Harding University as a kicker/punter. After college, he played indoor football for 3 seasons in Louisville, KY. He earned the title of team captain for the Kentucky Xtreme and upon retirement the team retired his number (82) with him. Canterbury lives in St. Augustine, FL where serves as the specialist coach at Bartram Trail High School. During his first year at Bartram, he coached David Kemp (University of Memphis) under long-time Bartram Trail Head Coach Darrell Sutherland. In 2021, Canterbury’s special teams unit produced a nation’s best 18 of 24 FG attempts by 2024 kicker/punter Liam Padron. Coach Canterbury brings experience and knowledge to the 4th Down U family that will help each individual grow in traditional and trending areas of special teams. “I love developing the specialist in all facets of the third phase.
